嘉宾简介

Prof. Stephen E. Lucas

Stephen E. Lucas is Professor of Communication Arts and Evjue-Bascom Professor in the Humanities at the University of Wisconsin. A member of the Wisconsin Teaching Academy, Professor Lucas has received numerous teaching awards, including the University of Wisconsin Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and the National Communication Association’s Donald Ecroyd Award for Outstanding Teaching in Higher Education. His numerous pedagogical innovations have had a profound impact in the United States, China, and beyond. He is also author of The Art of Public Speaking, which is used at more than 2,000 colleges and universities around the world.

韩宝成 教授

北京外国语大学中国外语与教育研究中心副主任、教授、博士生导师，外国语言研究所副所长，中国外语测评中心学术委员会副主任，全国高等教育自学考试外国语言文学专业委员会秘书长，中国高等教育学会外语教学研究分会副秘书长。主要从事应用语言学、外语教育及语言测试研究。

王俊菊 教授

山东大学外国语学院院长、教授、博士生导师，美国普渡大学合作博士生导师，教育部高等学校英语专业教学指导分委员会委员，教育部基础教育课程教材专家工作委员会委员，中国英汉语比较研究会英语教学研究分会常务理事、写作教学与研究专业委员会副会长、外语教师教育与发展专业委员会常务理事、二语习得研究专业委员会常务理事、外语界面研究专业委员会常务理事，山东省国外语言学学会会长，山东省高等教育学会外语专业教学研究会会长，山东省翻译协会副会长等。研究领域包括二语写作、外语教育、二语习得、外语教师发展等。入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，现为享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家。

Connecting Theory and Practice: Design of an English Writing Course and Its Implementation

Prof. Peter Pober

Peter Pober is Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Communication at George Mason University where he also directs the university’s top-three nationally-ranked Forensics Team. He is the only forensics director in history to orchestrate a top-ten team national placement for 28 consecutive years. He founded and now directs the annual U.S.-Korea International English Public Speaking Competition. He was honored with the Lifetime Distinguished Service Award by the American Forensics Association in 2013.

Prof. Icy Lee

Icy Lee is Professor and Chair at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her main research areas include second language writing, error correction and feedback in writing, classroom writing assessment, and second language teacher education. Professor Lee has published extensively on these areas in international journals and edited collections. She is currently Co-editor of the Journal of Second Language Writing and Senior Associate Editor of The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher.
