如果你看过前不久大热的喜剧小品《少爷和我》，你一定对里面的一句台词“优雅，太优雅了”有印象；或者你可能在B站刷到过“优雅，太优雅了”的弹幕。前不久，哔哩哔哩与中华书局联合发布，“优雅”被评为“B站2022年度弹幕”。
Bilibili, a leading video platform popular among China's younger generation, announced the phrase of the year on its site to be "You Ya", or "elegant/elegance" when translated literally.
为什么“优雅”脱颖而出？
“优雅”最早流行于游戏《英雄联盟》中的台词“优雅永不过时”，而今年“优雅”则凭借大热动画《间谍过家家》再次出圈。动画中男主一家奇人，凭借着高超的专业素养，让严苛的校长心悦诚服，五体投地，惊叹道“优雅，太优雅了”。这句台词一下戳中了观众的心，仿佛找到了形容这类处变不惊场景的最恰当形容词，由此“优雅”一词迅速被广泛使用。
Youya is borrowed from the famous quote “graceful, that’s so graceful” from the hit Japanese manga series Spy x Family. It is widely used to describe when one “marches ahead with a head held high even when faced with difficulties in life,” said an upvoted comment on the video revealing the word.
“优雅”的涵义有哪些？
“优雅”原义即优美、高雅，在传统汉语语境中，多用于形容艺术上的和谐之美，或赞美他人的文化品味与礼仪风度，英文中grace、elegant也有相似的含义。
而在现今的互联网语境中，“优雅”有什么不一样的意义呢？哔哩哔哩解释说：“它可以用来赞扬一个人拥有坚强的心或卓越的技能，面对瞬息万变的局势能够沉着应对，无论情况如何都能自洽，保持平静和稳定的精神状态。”
“It’s used to praise somebody for possessing a strong heart or excellent skills, being able to handle changes without being frightened, and finding and maintaining a calm and steady state of mind no matter what the situation is,” Bilibili explained.
在UP主“手工耿”的热门视频《自制钢琴烤串车》中，他通过创意和手艺将古典乐器与接地气的烧烤相结合。观众纷纷发弹幕表示这很“优雅”。此时的“优雅”，是对高雅艺术莅临指导粗糙生活的敬意。
In a hot video How to transform a piano into a barbecue car published by uploader "Handy Geng", he combined classical instrument and easy-going barbecue in a creative and crafty way. The audience posted bullet comments to say it is "elegance".
粉丝数不足一万的残障UP主“夏夏肢乎”在视频中大方展示自己如何用假肢登上台阶，收获了超300万次播放和满屏的“优雅”弹幕。这“优雅”不仅是在称赞她轻盈的体态，还有人们对她“纵有疾风起，人生不言弃”人生态度的敬意。
In another example, a disabled uploader with less 10,000 followers, contributed a video and generously showed how to use the prosthetic leg to climb the stairs, which receives over 3 million views and a screen full of “elegant” bullet comment.
从这些案例中可以看出，传统意义上的“优雅”往往与社会中高阶层或者高文化水平的人群、光鲜的生活联系在一起，而现在网络上的“优雅”则更强调一种普通人对生活的掌控力。
Traditionally, elegance is often associated with upper middle class groups or those with high academic backgrounds or fancy lives. But now, elegance emphasizes an ability to control and balance life for ordinary people.
北大中文系教授邵燕君这样说道：“当‘优雅’作为一个互联网‘梗’，通过弹幕与社交媒体流行起来，其中的阶层色彩和精英属性被明显削弱了，‘优雅’不再是特权（Elegance is no longer a priority）。”

今年是哔哩哔哩第六年发布年度弹幕，也是第一次由非网络俚语词汇获选年度弹幕。2020年的年度弹幕是“爷青回”，解释为“青年时代的复现”；2021年的年度弹幕是“破防”，指的是一种坚持不下去的感觉。

Previous words included “yeqinghui”, which translates as “revival of youth,” and “pofang”, which refers to the feeling of not being able to hold out any longer.
“弹幕”是近几年兴起的一种新的评论形式，指视频播放时观众的实时评论像子弹一样在屏幕上穿梭 （real-time comments from viewers fly across the screen like bullets while a video is playing）。这样的“弹幕评论”在英语中一般用bullet comments表示，如果视频播放时弹幕评论很多，占据了整个屏幕，就形成了bullet screen（弹幕）。国外媒体形容这种评论形式“more than just a comment”：
Bullet comments published by the audience are not directly equivalent to comments on YouTube videos. YouTube comments are often at the conclusion of or an opinion on the video. In Bilibili by comparison, in addition to reviews, the comments refer to the changing lines of the plot, instant interaction with other bullet comments, and sometimes explanation or translation of the content. They relate to the viewer experience at a moment in time.
