第十届中国第二语言习得研究国际研讨会
会议通知
近年来,全球范围内的二语习得研究蓬勃发展,理论和实践不断丰富和拓展。为进一步推动国际二语习得研究,提升我国二语习得研究的国际影响力,经中国英汉语比较研究会二语习得研究专业委员会批准,第十届中国第二语言习得研究国际研讨会将于2023年10月27—29日在山东济南举行。
此次会议由中国英汉语比较研究会二语习得研究专业委员会主办,山东大学外国语学院承办,外语教学与研究出版社、上海外语教育出版社、高等教育出版社协办。大会特邀国内外知名专家做主旨发言,并设有专题报告、特邀研讨、小组发言、圆桌讨论、会前工作坊等参会形式,欢迎积极投稿参会。

The 10th International Conference on Second Language Acquisition Research in China
Call for Abstract
Recent years have witnessed the prosperity of second language acquisition (SLA) studies in the global context, with theories and practice being advanced and expanded. In order to further promote the development of international SLA research and enhance the influence of Chinese SLA research worldwide, the 10th International Conference on Second Language Acquisition Research in China will be held on October 27–29, 2023, in Jinan, China.
This event will be organized by China Association of Second Language Acquisition of CACSEC, hosted by the School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Shandong University, and co-hosted by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, and Higher Education Press. It will invite renown experts to deliver keynote speeches, and organize featured speeches, invited colloquia, individual papers, round-table discussion and pre-conference workshops. Contributions from SLA scholars, researchers, teachers and students are all welcome.

Professor James P. Lantolf
Professor James P. Lantolf is Greer Professor in Applied Linguistics, Emeritus, the Pennsylvania State University, where he was Director of the Center for Language Acquisition and of CALPER (Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research). Professor James P. Lantolf is currently Distinguished Professor in the Center for the Cognitive Science of Language at Beijing Language and Culture University. From 2016 to 2019 he was Yangtze River (Changjiang River) Professor in Applied Linguistics in the School of Foreign Studies of Xi’an Jiaotong University, which in 2017 established an applied linguistics research center in his name. He was president of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (2005), and received its Distinguished Scholarship and Service Award (2016). He was Co-editor of Applied Linguistics (1993-1998) and founding editor of Language and Sociocultural Theory (2013-present). In addition to articles, chapters, and encyclopedia entries, he co-authored Sociocultural Theory and the Genesis of Second Language Development (2006) as well as Sociocultural Theory and the pedagogical imperative (2014), which received the Mildenberger Prize of the Modern Language Association of America. He edited Sociocultural Theory and Second Language Learning (2000), and co-edited Vygotskian Approaches to Second Language Research (1994), Sociocultural Theory and the Teaching of Second Languages (2008), and The Routledge Handbook of Sociocultural Theory and Second Language Development (2018). He is co-guest editor for special issues of The Modern Language Journal (2023): Sociocultural theory and pedagogical research in East Asia, as well as Language Assessment Quarterly (2023): L2 Dynamic assessment research in China.
Professor Luke Plonsky
Professor Luke Plonsky is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at Northern Arizona University, where he teaches courses in second language acquisition and research methods. His work in these and other topics has led to over 100 articles, book chapters, and books. He has been particularly active in an effort to advance and improve the methodological repertoire of the field. Luke is editor of Studies in Second Language Acquisition, Managing Editor of Foreign Language Annals, Co-editor of de Gruyter Mouton's Series on Language Acquisition, and Co-director of the IRIS repository for instruments in language learning and teaching (iris-database.org). Luke has held previous faculty appointments at Georgetown University and University College London. He has also lectured in China, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Puerto Rico, and Spain. Luke received his Ph.D in Second Language Studies from Michigan State University.
Professor Jean-Marc Dewaele
Professor Jean-Marc Dewaele is emeritus Professor of Applied Linguistics and Multilingualism. He has published widely on individual differences in classroom emotions. He is former president of the International Association of Multilingualism and the European Second Language Association, and current president of the International Association for the Psychology of Language Learning. He is General Editor of Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development. He won the Equality and Diversity Research Award from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (2013), the Robert Gardner Award for Excellence in Second Language and Bilingualism Research (2016) from the International Association of Language and Social Psychology and the EUROSLA Distinguished Scholar Award (2022).
Professor Li Wei
Professor Li Wei is Director and Dean of the Institute of Education (IOE), UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, at University College London (UCL), where he is also Professor of Applied Linguistics. His work is concerned with the development and education of bilingual and multilingual children and the wellbeing of immigrant and ethnic minority families and communities. He has led numerous research projects funded by ESRC, AHRC, British Academy, Leverhulme and Nuffield, as well international funding agencies. He has published widely, and won the British Association of Applied Linguistics Book Prize twice. He was the first Head of School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences at Newcastle between 2002 and 2006. He held a number of leadership roles at Birkbeck College, University of London between 2007 and 2014, including being Pro-Vice-Master for Research and Postgraduate Studies. He is Fellow of the British Academy, Academia Europaea, Academy of Social Sciences (UK), and the Royal Society of Arts (UK). He was Chair of the University Council of General and Applied Linguistics (UCGAL) between 2012 and 2015 and is currently Editor of The International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism and Applied Linguistics Review.
Professor Lawrence Jun Zhang
Professor Lawrence Jun Zhang, Ph.D, is Professor of Applied Linguistics/TESOL and Associate Dean for the Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Auckland, New Zealand. His major interests are in learner metacognition, the psychology of language learning and teaching, and teacher education, with particular reference to EFL reading/writing development and ESP/EAP. He has published extensively along these lines in leading international journals, including Applied Linguistics, Applied Linguistics Review, Modern Language Journal, Studies in Second Language Acquisition, TESOL Quarterly, among others. He was the sole recipient of the “Distinguished Research in TESOL Award” in 2011. He is currently Co-editor-in-chief of System, serving on the editorial boards of seven international journals. In 2016 he was honoured with the recognition by the TESOL International Association (USA) with the award of “50@50”, which acknowledged “50 Outstanding Leaders” around the globe in the profession of TESOL at TESOL’s 50th anniversary celebration in Baltimore, Maryland. In November 2016, he was successfully elected to the International TESOL Association’s Board of Directors. In the Stanford University Rankings 2022, he was listed in the top 2% of Scientists in the World in the disciplinary areas of Linguistics/Applied Linguistics. His recent books are: Crossing Borders, Writing Texts, Being Evaluated: Cultural and Disciplinary Norms in Academic Writing (with Golden & Kulbrandstad, 2021, Multilingual Matters, UK) and Teaching Writing in English as a Foreign Language: Teachers’ Cognition Formation and Reformation (with Zhao, 2022, Springer Nature).
Professor Shaofeng Li
Professor Shaofeng Li is Professor and Program Coordinator of Foreign and Second Language Education at Florida State University, where he conducts research and teaches courses on second language acquisition and language pedagogy. He received a Ph.D in Second Language Studies from Michigan State University. He has published on a wide range of topics including task-based language teaching and learning, corrective feedback, second language writing, research methods, meta-analysis, and cognitive and affective individual difference factors. His publications have appeared in leading journals in the field of applied linguistics, such as Annual Review of Applied Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Language Learning, Language Teaching, Language Teaching Research, Modern Language Journal, Studies in Second Language Acquisition, TESOL Quarterly, among others. His recent book projects include a monograph on language aptitude, a monograph on cognitive assessments in second language research, a co-edited volume on individual difference factors in second language acquisition, and an edited volume on individual differences in task-based language teaching and learning. He is the founding editor and editor-in-chief of Research Methods in Applied Linguistics, the first and only journal focusing exclusively on research methods in applied linguistics. He is the book review editor of TESOL Quarterly and serves on the editorial boards of a number of journals. He has given plenary and keynote speeches at various academic venues. He has held university positions in the U.S., New Zealand, and China.
王初明教授
广东外语外贸大学外国语言学及应用语言学研究中心——教育部人文社科重点研究基地博士生导师、云山工作室主持人;曾任此研究中心的首任主任,《现代外语》主编,第五、六届国务院学位委员会外国语言文学学科评议组成员,曾担任全国二语习得研究学术组织的负责人;研究方向为应用语言学、二语习得及其在外语教学中的应用。曾主持并完成多项国家、省、部级社科基金项目,其中包括一项国家社科基金重大招标项目;获国家教学成果二等奖3次,省级教学成果一等奖5次,中国高校人文社科研究优秀成果二等奖1次,省级奖3次,获许国璋外语研究二等奖1次。论文发表在《外语教学与研究》、《外国语》、《现代外语》、《外语界》、《中国外语》、Language Learning、Applied Linguistics等国内外语言学核心期刊。
赵杨教授
北京大学对外汉语教育学院教授、院长、博士生导师,剑桥大学博士。研究兴趣包括第二语言习得、生成语法、社会语言学、语言教育等。出版《第二语言习得》《汉语使动及其中介语表征》等专著译著多部,在国内外学术期刊发表论文数十篇,主持国家社科基金等科研项目多项。担任世界汉语教学学会副会长、全国汉语国际教育专业学位硕士生教育指导委员会委员、《国际中文教育》期刊主编、中国英汉语比较研究会二语习得研究专业委员会副会长等学术职务。
任伟教授
北京航空航天大学外国语学院教授、博士生导师、博士后合作导师、副院长。主要研究领域为二语语用,研究兴趣涵盖语用学、二语习得等。迄今已主持国家社会科学基金项目2项、教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目等省部级项目多项。2020、2021、2022年连续入选爱思唯尔“中国高被引学者”, 2022年全球前2%顶尖科学家。在国际出版学术专著2部,最新专著Second Language Pragmatics (2022)由剑桥大学出版社出版。在SSCI期刊编纂专刊3期。在Applied Linguistics、Assessing Writing、International Journal of Multilingualism、IRAL、Journal of Pragmatics、Language Teaching、Modern Language Journal、System等国内外权威学术期刊发表论文95篇、书评16篇。担任多个学会常务理事。担任Ampersand副主编和多家SSCI期刊编委。
董记华教授
山东大学外国语学院教授、博士生导师,山东省青年泰山学者,山东大学齐鲁青年学者,山东大学外国语学院院长助理,新西兰奥克兰大学联合博士生导师;兼任中国英汉语比较研究会写作教学与研究专业委员会理事,山东省国外语言学学会理事。在English for Specific Purposes, International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, ReCALL和System等国际知名SSCI期刊和国内重要期刊发表论文40余篇,出版专著2部。主持国家社科基金项目2项,主持外文局、教育部考试中心、教育部语合中心、省级等项目10余项。担任多家国际知名SSCI期刊审稿人和期刊编委。
