第20届世界翻译大会将于2014年8月4~6日在德国自由大学（Freie Universit t Berlin）举办，本届大会由国际翻译联盟（FIT）主办，德国联邦翻译协会（BDü）承办。

本届大会的主题是“人工翻译与机器翻译——翻译工作者与术语学家的未来（Man vs. Machine – The Future of Translators, Interpreters and Terminologists）”。

论文征集的主要议题如下：

1. 翻译工作者与术语学家须具备多领域的项专长（Translators, interpreters and terminologists – careers demanding a diverse range of expertise）

2. 翻译在人权维护领域的贡献（How translation and interpreting contribute to safeguarding human rights）

3. 翻译工作者与术语学家的职业实践与权利（Professional practice and the rights of translators, interpreters and terminologists）

4. 翻译与术语领域的教研工作（Teaching and research in the field of translation, interpreting and terminology work）

5. 论文摘要提交截止时间是2013年7月31日。
