荷兰乌特勒支大学外语教学能力提升研修班线上研修报名通知

教之有道,学而有方。为帮助广大高校外语教师精进教学方法,精准实施教学策略,开展有效教学,外语教学与研究出版社联合荷兰乌特勒支大学将于北京时间2022年10月10—28日在线上共同策划举办大学外语教学能力提升专题研修。
顶尖高校的教学专家与优秀教师,结合丰富教学经验和深厚理论基础,系统讲授以学生为中心的教学及合作学习、外语教学中的跨文化思辨能力培养、课堂话语与课堂反馈策略等外语教学方法,指导参班教师明晰教学原则、更新教学理念、丰富教学方法、完善教学设计,切实提升外语教学质量。
荷兰乌特勒支大学简介
乌特勒支大学(Utrecht University,简称UU)创立于1636年,是荷兰规模最大、欧洲最著名的教育研究机构之一,有着悠久的学术传统与严谨的治学方法,与剑桥大学等20所欧洲高校同属欧洲研究型大学联盟(LERU)。乌特勒支大学以强大的研究实力、高质量的教育水准和良好的学术声誉而享誉欧洲,多年来一直稳居世界高校百强之列。至今为止,共培养出12位诺贝尔奖获得者以及15位斯宾诺莎奖获得者。乌特勒支大学在2021和2022年软科世界大学学术排名中分别位居全球第50和54位,其语言学专业在2019和2020年QS世界大学专业排名中分别位居全球第34和37位。

二、研修特色
研修班汇聚荷兰乌特勒支大学以及莱顿大学、格罗宁根大学等欧洲顶尖高校的应用语言学专家、学者及优秀教师,系统设计,深入讲解,层层递进。
研修班聚焦以学生为中心及合作学习、跨文化思辨能力培养、教师课堂话语应用和课堂反馈等外语教学方法,帮助参班教师夯实教学理论基础、拓展教学思路。
研修班基于丰富教学案例,有针对性地帮助教师将所学与教学实践相结合,熟悉相关方法与策略,拓展外语教学的维度,丰富外语教学的内涵,提升外语教学实效。
三、主讲专家
本期国际培训将由Dr. Jan D. ten Thije、Dr. Ursula Brinkmann、Dr. Claire Smulders、Dr. Ankie Hoefnagels等专家主讲。
Dr. Jan D. ten Thije
Dr. Jan D. ten Thije is Professor of Intercultural Communication at the Utrecht Institute for Linguistics and the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication at University Utrecht.He studied General Linguistics and Dutch Language and Culture at University of Amsterdam and received his PhD at Utrecht University (1994) with research focusing intercultural discourse in advisory institutes.
His main fields of research concern institutional discourse in multicultural and international settings, lingua receptiva / receptive multilingualism, intercultural training, language education and functional pragmatics. He has rich publication in English, Dutch or German, including books, articles such as Beyond Misunderstanding. The linguistic analysis of intercultural communication. Amsterdam: Benjamins; Enhancing Intercultural Communication in Organizations - Insights from Project Advisers. New York & London: Routlegde.
He is Editor-in-chief of the European Journal for Applied Linguistics (EuJAL) published by Mouton de Gruyter; Series editor of Utrecht Studies in Language and Communication (USLC) published by Brill Publications, Leiden.
Dr. Ursula Brinkmann
Dr. Ursula Brinkmann is an expert and psychologist renowned for her research and development of the Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC), a high quality assessment tool for intercultural competences. She conducted her doctoral research on First Language Acquisition at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and gained her doctorate in Social Sciences at the University of Nijmegen before founding International Business Improvement Center with Oscar van Weerdenburg in 1996. Trilingual in German, English and Dutch, she has worked with an array of multinational corporate clients including Bosch, the Dutch-German Chamber of Commerce, Chalmers Advanced Management Programs, Daimler, Ericsson, Siemens, and many others.
In recognition of her commitment and service to the intercultural relations field, Ursula received the Margaret D Pusch Founders Award by SIETAR USA in 2016. She was a board member of SIETAR Netherlands for six years, and president of the association from April 2015 to April 2017. She is one of the initiators of ECILP – European Certificate for Intercultural Learning Professionals, a European consortium aiming to introduce shared standards for the intercultural profession.
Her publications include Intercultural Readiness: Four Competences for Working Across Cultures, London: Palgrave Macmillan (2014), with Oscar van Weerdenburg; ‘Asia on the rise – Is it the culture that carries the growth?’ with Fons Trompenaars (2005) Think On, Vol 6; ‘Comparison of two instruments of Multicultural Effectiveness: The Multicultural Personality Inventory and the Intercultural Readiness Check’ with Karen van der Zee (2003) International Journal of Assessment and Selection, Vol 3.
Dr. Claire Smulders
Dr. Claire Smulders is the Head of Chinese Language and Culture Program and the supervisor of Language Teachers Education at Leiden University Graduate School of Education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Chinese Pedagogy and Methodology and a Doctoral degree in Chinese Language and Culture from Leiden University.
She is a brilliant speaker of Dutch, English, French and Chinese. As a Teacher Educator and methodologist, she advocates and demonstrates the philosophy of Leiden University Graduate School of Education (ICLON) to connect theory and practice of teaching through the application of academic knowledge to issues of classroom practice. Claire Smulders is also a member of the Dutch national expertise center for development in education (SLO) where she takes part in research to innovate education of foreign languages such as English and Chinese.
Her expertise includes but is not limited to Foreign Language Learning, Language Teaching, Second Language Acquisition, Intercultural Communication, SLA (Service level Agreement) and Cross-Cultural Communication.
Dr. Ankie Hoefnagels
Dr. Ankie Hoefnagels is Professor at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands where she chairs the research center Global Minds at Work. It is her mission to support young professionals in developing their global and intercultural competence. She develops evidence-based education and research projects with co-authors and in co-creation with industry partners.
Since 2008, Dr. Hoefnagels has built up a track record within the International Relationship Management research center with research into (the development of) international competencies, the development of educational tools in this field and the building of a national and international knowledge network. Dr. Hoefnagels has successfully developed educational tools to enhance students and staff’s global mindset, such as the Global Mind Monitor (more than 20000 users) and the Curious People blog platform. Her publication record covers, among others, a textbook about intercultural communication in the hotel and tourism industry, multiple book chapters and an award-winning paper in the Journal of Service Management (1800+ citations).
四、研修安排
1. 研修时间:
·直播课程:2022年10月10—28日,以周为单位授课,共3周,每周3次课,授课时间为北京时间每周一、三、五晚间19:00—21:00。
·回放课程:2022年11月30日前可观看视频回放。
2. 研修形式:线上研修(具体研修形式将于开班前5日内发至您报名预留邮箱)。
3. 研修费用:3980元/人,9月10日前报名并缴费可享早鸟价3480元/人(含专家授课、研修资料、教学组织管理、结业证书等费用)。
4. 在线报名及缴费截止时间:2022年10月5日。

3. 研修证书
凡参加全部课程且考核合格者,可获得外语教学与研究出版社与荷兰乌特勒支大学联合颁发的电子结业证书。
